Overview
Get ready for an action-packed weekend of Scouting fun at Camp Emerson.. Located in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountains near Idyllwild, Camp Emerson is the perfect place for Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts to take their next big step in advancement.
During this immersive outdoor experience, Webelos will camp in tents, enjoy all-inclusive meals, and participate in a full weekend of hands-on programs. Each Scout can earn up to 5 adventure pins, choosing from 8 exciting activities—including popular outdoor adventures like BB Guns, Archery, and Slingshots.
Open to individual Scouts or groups—come with your den, your pack, or just yourself and meet new friends!

Easy Drive from the Inland Empire
Camp Emerson is located just outside the mountain town of Idyllwild, making it an easy weekend getaway for families and units across Southern California:
- From Temecula: Approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes — scenic highway drive through Hemet and Mountain Center
- From Riverside: Approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes — quick mountain route via CA-60 E and CA-74 E
No freeway traffic, just a beautiful and relaxing drive up to camp!
