The National Jamboree will be held July 22-31, 2026, at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in Glen Jean, West Virginia. In case you have not heard, the theme is ELEVATE and this event will ELEVATE your Scouting and will be a life changing experience. The National Jamboree is the largest and most exciting event in Scouting America. This once-in-a-lifetime adventure will bring together thousands of Scouts and Scouters from across the country for ten unforgettable days filled with adventure, challenges, and lifelong memories.

With 10,000 acres at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, there is no shortage of exciting activities for everyone.

Here’s what you can expect:

High-Adventure Activities

Rock Climbing & Bouldering – Scale natural rock formations and artificial climbing walls designed for all skill levels.
Rappelling – Experience the adrenaline rush of rappelling down cliffs under expert supervision.
Zip Lines – Soar over the treetops on some of the longest zip lines in the country.
Canopy Tours – Navigate treetop obstacle courses for an elevated challenge.
Skateboarding – Try out world-class skateparks built for every skill level.
BMX Biking – Ride through BMX tracks and courses designed for speed and tricks.
Mountain Biking – Take on miles of epic trails built for all experience levels.
Aquatic Adventures – Paddleboarding, kayaking, and whitewater rafting on some of the most exciting rivers in West Virginia.
Shooting Sports – Learn and practice skills in archery, rifle shooting, shotgun shooting, and even tomahawk throwing.

Eligibility:

Scouts must be at least 12 years old by July 22, 2026.
Council Troops are being formed in groups of:
- 20 participants (18 youth, 2 adults)
- 40 participants (36 youth, 4 adults)
