The Council Coordinated Meeting (CCM) is a gathering of Council Level leaders, District Level Leaders, Commissioners, volunteers and professional staff as well as any others who play key roles in supporting and delivering Scouting programs. The goal of these meetings is to ensure alignment, share information, and coordinate activities across the council to support and strengthen Scouting programs.

Key purposes and activities of a Council Coordinated Meeting typically include:

  1. Strategic Planning and Goal Setting – Setting goals that align with the Council’s overall mission, including membership growth, program quality, and community engagement.
  2. Program Coordination – Discussing upcoming events, training sessions, and programs to avoid scheduling conflicts and enhance collaboration.
  3. Training and Development – Providing training information or resources for leaders, especially in roles related to program delivery, recruitment, and support.
  4. Updates and Communication – Sharing updates from national and regional levels or across districts to ensure everyone is informed on policies, program changes, and resources.
  5. Troubleshooting and Support – Addressing challenges in specific districts or units, brainstorming solutions, and providing resources or guidance as needed.
