Get ready for a roaring good time at Big Cat Weekend, an exciting overnight camping experience designed just for Tiger Cub Scouts! This action-packed adventure is the perfect opportunity for young Scouts and their families to explore the outdoors, build skills, and create lasting memories.

Easy Drive from the Inland Empire
Camp Emerson is located just outside the mountain town of Idyllwild, making it an easy weekend getaway for families and units across Southern California:
- From Temecula: Approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes — scenic highway drive through Hemet and Mountain Center
- From Riverside: Approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes — quick mountain route via CA-60 E and CA-74 E
No freeway traffic, just a beautiful and relaxing drive up to camp!
