Zombie Survival Weekend

Zombie Survival Weekend
October 25th thru 27th

Scouts will need to rely on teamwork and their Scout skills to outlast the zombie plague. The goal is to survive, not fight, and find the ultimate cure. The camp is designed to teach practical Scout skills while fostering cooperation, collaboration, and a sense of fun, and adventure.

Camp Setup

  • Group Dynamics: Scouts will group themselves into survival teams of 3 to 8 Scouts. Each team will have different roles (team leader, medic, scout, builder, forager) to encourage teamwork and skill-sharing.
  • Campsite: After setting up your tents create a perimeter around your campsite to protect your Survival Team from being ravaged overnight by invading zombies. Zombies cannot climb over obstacles, at least waist high, but can step over or under ones that are too short or too tall.
  • Cure Discovery: Throughout the day Scouts must visit all the skill stations to receive clues to the cure for the zombie plague. Should they discover the cure all the campers are considered safe from the zombie plague and will celebrate at Saturday night’s victory dinner.
