Zombie Survival Weekend

Zombie Survival Weekend
October 17th thru 19th
$95 per person

Scouts will need to rely on teamwork and their Scout skills to outlast the zombie plague. The goal is to survive, not fight, and find the ultimate cure. The camp is designed to teach practical Scout skills while fostering cooperation, collaboration, and a sense of fun, and adventure.

Camp Setup, Teams, and Scoring

  • Group Dynamics: Scouts will group themselves into Survival Teams of 4 to 12 Scouts. Each team will have designated roles (Team Leader, Medic, Radio Operator, Scout, Builder, Forager) to encourage teamwork and skill-sharing.
  • Campsite Setup: After pitching tents, teams must create a defensive perimeter around their campsite to protect against invading zombies. Tip: Zombies can’t climb obstacles at least waist high but can step over or under barriers that are too short or too tall.
  • Individual & Team Score Cards: Each Scout receives a score card that also works as a health bar. Throughout the event, Scouts must visit all skill stations to earn training, points, and clues to survive the zombie plague.
    • Points = Skills gained
    • Health = Survival progress
    • If all skills are mastered, the camp collectively survives and celebrates at Saturday night’s Victory Campfire.
  • Beware of Zombies and Marauders! Zombies may appear anywhere. If they touch you—you lose health and points! Even worse are unfriendly human survivors who may try to steal your points.
