TIME TO RACE
Whether you’re an individual wanting to build a car and race, you’re a group of friends and wanting to race against each other, or you just want to get out for an evening, cheer on some ridiculous cars and support the Scouting America program, we have an offer for you.
Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

THE DETAILS

Schedule
A schedule will be provided here closer to the event once we know approximately how many participants we’ll have. But, here’s the basic times of the event.
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM – Check-in. You’ll need to come with your car ready to go. It will be measured and weighed in. Your car specifications must not exceed those set in the rules.
6:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Racing will be done in groups of 4. Each participant’s car will have an opportunity to race on each lane.
Rules
Rules will be provided here by November 1st. Typical Pinewood Derby rules will apply.

New To The Derby?
1. Sign up using the links above.
2. Pick up your car from the Scout Shop in Redlands or from Electric Brewing Company.
3. Shave away the wood block until you uncover the car of your dreams. Of course, make sure you follow the rules.
4. Arrive on race day with your car built and your axles lubricated.
5. If you don’t want to build a new car, you’re welcome to use an old car. Just be sure it meets the rules of our event.
