Whether your group prefers cabins, camping, or a mix of both, Camp Emerson offers plenty of space to fit your needs. This makes Camp Emerson a great fit for everything from smaller retreats to large-scale gatherings and multi-day events.

SWIMMING POOL
Whether campers are practicing their strokes during swim lessons, racing across the pool with friends, or simply floating in the sunshine after a busy morning of activities, the pool offers a refreshing break and a chance to enjoy the carefree spirit that defines camp life at Emerson.

CAMP EMERSON LAKE
The lake at Camp Emerson offers a peaceful contrast to the excitement of the rest of camp, nestled among towering trees and surrounded by the natural beauty of the San Bernardino Mountains. In the mornings, the water is often calm and glassy, reflecting the sky and forest as campers paddle out in canoes.
- Capacity for up to 20 canoers or kayakers at a time
- Supervised by trained waterfront staff and certified lifeguards
SHOOTING SPORTS
Shooting sports at Camp Emerson offer campers a safe and exciting way to build focus, responsibility, and confidence. Under the guidance of trained staff, participants learn the fundamentals of marksmanship, range safety, and proper equipment handling in a structured outdoor setting.
- Rifle range and shotgun trap range operated by qualified staff
- Programs led by National Rifle Association–certified Range Safety Officers and instructors
- Archery range staffed by USA Archery–certified instructors
CLIMBING TOWER
Rising high above the activity area, the tower features multiple climbing routes that allow participants of different skill levels to test their strength, balance, and problem-solving abilities. With trained staff members managing the ropes and safety systems, campers learn proper climbing techniques while encouraging one another from below.

HIKING TRAILS
The hiking trails at Camp Emerson invite campers to explore the beauty of the San Bernardino Mountains while connecting with nature. Winding through pine forests and scenic hillsides, the trails offer opportunities to observe local plants, wildlife, and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
- More than 25 miles of nature trails
- Great for hiking, exploration, reflection, and environmental education
OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER
The outdoor amphitheater at Camp Emerson is a special gathering place where the camp community comes together for performances, campfires, and evening programs. Surrounded by towering pines and open sky, the natural setting creates a memorable backdrop for skits, songs, and storytelling.
