President’s Challenge

Challenge Rules

The President’s Recruitment Challenge starts June 1, 2024 and ends on Friday, September 27, 2024.

For Youth:

Recruit a New Youth Member (any level).
• Must be “new” – no transfers, multiples or bridging.
• Recruit 1 Scout and earn a patch. Recruit 5 and earn a special patch.

Two youth grand prizes will be awarded at Adventure Weekend:
• one for the youth who recruits the most new Scouts
• one drawn at random from the rest of the Scouts who recruited at least one (each new recruit earns one entry in the drawing)
• Drawing will be held at Adventure Weekend at Saturday Morning opening ceremonies.

Youth Grand Prize is free registration to every activity sponsored by CIEC in calendar year 2025 (Summer Camp at Camp Emerson, Camporee, NYLT, Winter Camp, Eerie Emerson, etc.)

For Adults:

Recruit a New Adult Volunteer.
• Recruit one earn a patch
• Every new recruit earns an entry in a drawing for the Adult Grand Prize.

Drawing will be held at Adventure Weekend at Saturday Moring opening ceremonies.

Adult Grand Prize is a James E. West Fellowship (and knot) in your name.
